The SAVOUTQ command is used to archive a group of spool files, pass a group of spool files to a COLD Storage solution, and/or prepare a group of spool files for microfiche.  The exact function of this command is determined by the value of the Save type parameter. 

The SAVOUTQ command can be run in an interactive or batch environment.  This command can also be included in user-written applications.  The screen above is the first of three screens showing all parameters available on the SAVOUTQ command.
